The overall mission of yabonza is to do property management better and to provide our customers amazing service and services that exceed customer expectations.

Yabonza is seeking a thought leader that can evolve the client relationships from the legacy problem-based property management interactions to a transparent and informed relationship.

The YAM is an advisory and proactive role. Adding value with a view to achieve positive outcomes for Yabonza landlords be it around maximising the ROI or the landlords asset/portfolio or increasing awareness of Yabonza services to landlords.

Working in a team environment, the individual will be expected to demonstrate commitment, loyalty and an ability to work as an enthusiastic team member in accordance with the company’s office routines and procedures, keeping in mind the overall business objectives.

What We're Seeking

Essential

  • Proven account management or other relevant experience
  • Deep understanding of the real estate and in particular property management
  • Understanding and interest in the Property Market, finance and market influences
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, reporting and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
  • Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity
  • Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Excellent time and project management skills. You’re always looking to improve inefficient processes
  • Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
  • Use of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, CRM and help desk support software 

Desirable

  • An interest in property related industries and financial products
  • An understanding of marketing and communications
  • An understanding of technology and CRMs
  • Real estate License is preferred 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Builds and develops long-term relationships with a portfolio of landlords based on trust and respect.
  • Focused on making the experience of owning property better for the landlords.
  • Acts as a landlord advocate with a focus on improving the landlord experience with Yabonza.
  • Communicates with landlords to understand their needs and explain product value. Liaising between landlords and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs. Collaborating with internal departments to facilitate landlord need fulfilment.
  • Offers products and services relevant to the landlords (and tenants) to grow the value provided by Yabonza to assigned landlords
  • Keeps accurate records/account notes relating to interactions with landlords in the CRM
  • Maintains updated knowledge of company products and services and is deeply familiar with a real estate and property management concepts, practices and procedures.
